  • All financial transactions, budgets, accounts, savings, debts, receivables, and bills are stored locally on your device.
  • We never sell or distribute your personal financial data to any third parties.
  • The application does not require you to create an online account to start managing your finances.

2. Types of Information Processed

When you use CatatUangKu, certain categories of data may be processed on your device:

  • Financial Transaction Data: Transaction amounts, income, expenses, categories, accounts/wallets, notes, budgets, debts, receivables, and bill reminders.
  • Backup Files: When you enable backup and restore features, the application can create and read CatatUangKu backup archives on your selected storage provider, including Google Drive.
  • Anonymous Technical Data: The application may process anonymous crash logs and performance diagnostics to improve application stability.

Important Note: If data is stored only locally and your device is lost or damaged without an active backup, your financial records cannot be recovered.

3. Use of Google Drive

If you choose to enable the Google Drive integration, CatatUangKu accesses Google Drive strictly to create, read, and restore your application backup archives.

  • The app uses Google Drive access exclusively for CatatUangKu backup files.
  • The app never accesses, modifies, or deletes any other personal files in your Google Drive.
  • Data obtained through Google APIs is not used for advertising, not sold, and never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Our use of Google API data strictly adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Device Permissions

The application may request the following permissions to support specific features:

  • Biometrics / Screen Lock: Used locally for the application lock security feature.
  • Storage / Media Access: Used for exporting, importing, or restoring local backup archives when chosen.
  • Notifications: Used for bill reminders and recurring expense notifications if enabled.

5. Third-Party Services

CatatUangKu may integrate trusted third-party services such as Google Play Services, Google Drive API, Google AdMob, or in-app billing. These services process data according to their own privacy policies.

Your recorded financial entries in CatatUangKu are never used for targeted advertising.

6. Data Deletion and Control

You have full control over your financial records at all times:

  • Clear records directly through the app settings if available.
  • Clear app data and cache via your device's system settings.
  • Uninstall the application to permanently remove local records from your phone.
  • Delete backup archives directly from your Google Drive storage.
